TORONTO (June 30, 2022) – Due to popular demand in the US, Prairie Pants Distribution (Vérité Films and 335 Productions) excitedly announces today that their beloved franchise CORNER GAS has launched a FAST Channel on Amazon Freevee in the U.S.. Audiences will now be able to get their fill of all things Corner Gas as the channel will air the franchises entire current catalogue. In addition, the finale season of CORNER GAS ANIMATED premiered on-demand on Amazon Freevee June 24.
For over 18 years, CORNER GAS, created by comedian/writer Brent Butt, has garnered critical and commercial success across its brand, and has developed a beloved fan following, with six seasons of the live-action series, four seasons of its animated series; and a feature film that sold out theatres. This is why it’s only fitting this series finds a U.S. home with its very own dedicated Corner Gas channel, where fans can tune in day and night and rediscover all their favourite episodes.
In addition, the final season of CORNER GAS ANIMATED is now streaming free across the U.S., joining the rest of the Corner Gas brand on Amazon Freevee. . This final season brings this iconic comedy franchise to a close with a Hallowe’en special that reveals the spooky history of Brent’s house and franchise finale guest starring Ryan Reynolds. Over the 13 episodes Brent, Lacey, Wanda, Hank, Oscar, Emma, Davis and Karen get up to a lot of nothing in the middle of nowhere. As the sun sets on this quirky prairie town, viewers are left with the sense that life in Dog River will carry on the same way it always does.
