Jeremy Fisher Junior Saturday Morning Special Concerts Stream Live Saturdays at 11 am ET on Facebook

Toronto, ON  –  Multi JUNO-nominated singer-songwriter and dad,  Jeremy Fisher , offers COVID-19 relief for kids and families from now to mid-June with weekly live concerts on Facebook.com/JeremyFisherJunior every Saturday Morning at 11 am ET. Each 30-minute concert is designed for parents and kids to enjoy together in an effort to support positive mental health and well-being.

“I’m a working musician, caring for my partner, a newborn, and a toddler at home,” says Jeremy Fisher. “I created the Jeremy Fisher Saturday Morning Specials to bring me and my family joy while helping other families manage the stress and isolation of COVID. Kids, parents, and teachers need music, structure, and support. I hope my concerts can meet those needs and teach kids about reading, science, and pretty much anything through music.”

Jeremy Fisher sings songs and tells stories that help kids acknowledge their emotions and discover how their feelings can spark creativity in song, story, dance, and art. As part of the Saturday Morning Specials concerts, Jeremy gets kids and families to interact with him — through posts and requests — as they sing and dance along to the livestream. He also shares artwork he’s created with his four-year-old daughter and encourages the audience to post drawings to his Facebook page at the end of each concert. Curriculum-ready activities for kids in JK to Grade 3 accompany each concert to help over-burdened parents and teachers meet the challenges of remote learning and can be found  here.

On Saturday May 16, members of JUNO Award-winning Vancouver-based indie-rock band  Said The Whale  will appear on Fisher’s Saturday Morning Special on Facebook. Additional Canadian musicians will be announced in the weeks to come.

The Jeremy Fisher Junior Saturday Morning Specials are created and produced by Jeremy Fisher Music, Hidden Pony Records, and Vérité Films with the support of the Vérité Films Artist Incubator Program.
